ESPOL University will be hosting the XXIII Annual LACEA LAMES Meeting this year and the Call for Papers is now open.

This academic event, the most relevant in the Latin American and the Caribbean region, is aimed at professors, researchers, policy makers and economics students.  From March 5th, the Call for Papers has been opened and the deadline for submissions has been extended to June  4^th. In order to submit a paper, presenters must be active members of LACEA and/or the Econometric Society.

The congress will be held in the city of Guayaquil from November 8th to the 10th, and it will count with the Nobel Prizes Christopher Pissarides and Christopher A. Sims and recognized worldwide keynote speakers.
